Abraham

Genesis 17: 1-2. " When Abraham was 90 years old the lord appeared to him and said, " I am God almighty " . Walk before me faithful and blamelessly. Then I will make my covenant between you and I will greatly increase your numbers" .

What is Abraham asked to do and what will God do in return?

Abraham is asked to be faithful to God and God says he will increase his people' s numbers if he follows God.

Moses

Exodus 3:2-11. There the angel of the lord appeared to the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn...But Moses said to God " Who am I that I should go to Pharoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt.

What does this verse explain?

The explanation is God said he will help Moses free the slaves.Moses did not want to because he was afraid yet he got courage from God. This is Moses's biggest accomplishment.

David and solomon

2 Samuel 2:1. In the course of the time, David inquired of the Lord. " Shall I go up to one of the towns of Judah " ? The lord said " Go up".

Why is this so significant?

This is so significant because he listened to God and he moved and then became King.
