WRKXFMLY Project By CHasity Pletcher

Day 1 “I was in the kitchen, helping with the babies when I realized this would be a great photo. It shows one of the babies in the kitchen because he’s always glued to our moms hip, while my pregnant mom cooks. It’s always a hassle cooking with the babies and having such a big family, sometimes I think of my step mom as super human” © 2017 Chasity Pletcher, WRKXFMLY Assignment, North High School, Bakersfield, Ca
Day 2 “Doing things for the babies is our everyday thing. We have to feed them, change diapers, put them to sleep, bathe them, make sure a bottle is ready when they wake up, etc. So whenever we were cleaning the house and my baby brother Jaxzyn (around 8 months old) started ‘demanding’ food, I thought it would be the perfect moment to capture. Of course bending over to give a baby food probably isn’t the most moving photo but it’s a huge job we have to do everyday for two babies.” © 2017 Chasity Pletcher, WRKXFMLY Assignment, North High School, Bakersfield, Ca
“I took a picture of the keyboard because it represents the work I do at school. Now-a-days everything we do involves a computer or phone somehow.” © 2017 Chasity Pletcher, WRKXFMLY Assignment, North High School, Bakersfield, Ca
Day 4 “I was at a school event, shooting for my photography class, but my sisters had to tag along including one of the babies. I was running around taking photos of the actors or clubs whenever my sister asked me to take her picture. Of course I took the photo! Not only did she look adorable, it was a great example of where my work and my family overlaps.” © 2017 Chasity Pletcher, WRKXFMLY Assignment, North High School, Bakersfield, Ca
Day 5 “We were visiting my mother but my mother was busy; we needed to occupy ourselves. So my brother grabbed his tablet and started to entertain himself. This was another moment where our schedules overlap.” © 2017 Chasity Pletcher, WRKXFMLY Assignment, North High School, Bakersfield, Ca
Day 6 “Still visiting my mom in this photo. Damon was waking up and I was sitting by the lamp coloring. My mom was in the garage, still working. Our schedules were still overlapping and not allowing us to spend actual quality time.” © 2017 Chasity Pletcher, WRKXFMLY Assignment, North High School, Bakersfield, Ca
Day 7 "We were sitting in the hallway, waiting for class when I realized this would be a good photo. It's a part of my family's every day life; school. This is the work we do as the children. Besides chores of course." © 2017 Chasity Pletcher, WRKXFMLY Assignment, North High School, Bakersfield, Ca
