The ITP is happening because platelets are being destroyed in your immune system.Children often develop ITP after a viral infection.

Scientist say that they have mapped ITP on chromosome 20 with other rare diseases.

The phenotype would be finding red spot on your body,easily bruising, and bleeding because the clot.

ITP is diagnosed by finding low platelet's.They start with a blood cell count.Then they hallmark is isolated.Kids it mostly go's away.However in adults they have medicine.

They have a medication boost your platelet.They also can have surgery to remove your spleen..

This disorder is not heredity. Therefore you cant get it for a parent.It can not get passed down through future generations.
