Lindsay Price

In the chaos of switching jobs, selling and buying a home and just nothing going right, Lindsay accepted an invitation from a friend to attend Grace Family Church.

"I keep trying to find more and more reasons to come to Grace Family, I'm joining everything so I can be here more!"

Lindsay had grown up with solid morals and regularly attended church with her family. She called herself a Christian, but she lived a lifestyle far from it. Lindsay planned on serving in the military, however, her parents didn't give her permission. So she decided to go to the college farthest away from them and live how she wanted.

"I knew right from wrong, but when I got to the point when I was doing so many wrong things, it became the right thing..."

Friends and family members began leaving Lindsay's life due to death, fights and distance. She felt alone and became mad at God.

"Every bad decision and bad experience, gave me this feeling of emptiness and desire for something, but I didn't know what. I filled it with the only thing I knew, which was making more bad decisions."

When she walked into Grace Family Church, she had a feeling the people she met, would never leave. She felt like she belonged and so she got involved!

Lindsay recently got baptized and now sings in the choir, attends a weekly Bible study and also attends The Exchange for young adults.

"If I could tell my past self one thing, it would be to never loose that little voice in your head that tells you right from wrong and never betray it."
"My favorite Bible verse would be Isaiah 22:22 which says, "I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens, no one can shut and what he shuts, no one can open."

Pastor Mike Ash shared this verse during the first service Lindsay attended and it she has tightly held onto it ever since. She described the "door" mentioned in the verse, to God in her life.

"I've felt like I've been pushing on a pull door with God. Now, the door is completely off the hinges and His love and blessings are freely and powerfully flowing into my life."
