How do you decide if you like someone? How do you show interest in them?

Deciding to like someone is based on your feelings toward a person or an opinion you have. You may like someone or dislike them depending on how they've treated you. You show interest by asking questions about their life and giving them your time as well.

Have you ever "passed on a kindness"?

I believe I have passed on a kindness in the past, but to my knowledge I don't recall. I would like to say I've passed on kindness knowing that I've helped others in a way they could feel special. That would be a wonderful feeling knowing that I've been kind to someone, even if it's a person I don't know.

Who is your biggest fan?

My biggest fan would have to be my best friend/boyfriend. He has been cheering me on through everything I do. He motivates me each and everyday from sports to school to any activities that I do. I succeed from my hard work and his motivation.

What do you love most about yourself? What do others love about you?

What I love most about myself is that I'm a helpful person. I help friends with their homework or when they have a problem and need some advice. I also help my parents and sister as often as I can. I'm not too sure what others love about me, but I hope it's a good characteristic.

Which of your senses is the most important to you? What would you do without it?

The most important sense to me is my taste buds. It is important because I love eating food. It would be horrible having to live my life without being able to taste any type of foods or drinks.

Do you treat people as they are, or as they ought to be?

I try to treat other's as they ought to be because I believe everyone has their own full potential that they can reach. Everyone deserves to be treated more maturely no matter what age they are or how they act. I want the best for everyone and that they can reach their full potential.

How were you taught to tell the truth?

I was raised by very strict parents and they always expected me to tell the truth no matter what. They wanted me to be the best that I can be and never expected me to lie in anyway. I was never really taught to tell the truth, it was more of an expectation.

Have your parents ever practiced "long division" on you and your friends?

My parent's have never practiced "long division" on me. They are very strict and would not allow any guys or friends over unless there is a valid reasoning. I've never even heard of "long division" before besides in my math classes in elementary school.

When has a friend opened up a whole new world for you?

A friend that has opened a whole new world for me is my friend Kelly Huynh. Before she came into my life I was a "follow the rules" type and when I met her everything went downhill from there. I became a "rebel" according to my family, but I thought I was doing okay. I believe all I did was open up more and became more of myself instead of a bundled up child who always follows dumb rules that have no meaning.

What is the most important advise you have ever received?

The most important advice I've ever received is to always work hard to achieve your goals because hard work pays off. I go by this advice almost everyday in my life from school work to track/cross country. It has helped me accomplished plenty of goals that I never thought I would be able to reach.

What was the stupidest thing you have ever done? Did someone persuade you to do it?

The stupidest thing that I've ever done is taken AP English III. English has always been my least favorite subject, but I always end up doing stupid things like taking an AP class. No one persuaded me to take that class and now I'm making a 69 in that class which is going to ruin my GPA and transcript if I don't bring it up before the 3rd 9 weeks.

Any topic of choice.

Tomorrow is the track team's first meet and I am looking forward to it. I'm really excited because I got the races that I wanted and I'm just ready to run. I know that I will be nervous tomorrow, but that's what helps me run faster.

What do you wish you knew then that you know now?

I wish I knew how horrible high school was so that I would've been able to do the early graduation program to get the hell out of this place. I wish I knew how trashy some of these people are at SMHS so that I would've moved to another school or go to Phoenix. I hate going to this school, but I'm just trying my best to graduate with good grades, GPA, and ranking. I'm just trying to graduate at this point.

Have you ever decided to leave someone behind? How did it feel?

I left my whole entire family behind when my parents decided to move to San Marcos. I left my friends and family and it was the worst experience of my life. I personally wished I had never left Houston, but overall my experience here has been worthwhile. I met a really nice guy and he has made my high school experience unforgettable. But I also would like to thank my friends for also being the reason that high school is somewhat bearable.

What is the most frightening thing that has happened to you? How did you live through it?

The most frightening thing that has happened to me was when I got a B on my report card. My dad was going crazy because he expects me to get all A's. He was upset at first, but he eventually got over it.

March 3, 2017

What do you try to do "perfectly"? What happens?

What I try to "perfectly" do is get all A's in school so that my parents would be proud of me. Although my grades slip sometimes, I still do everything in my power to bring my grades up. I currently have two B's, but I'm working very hard so that I could bring it up.

What is the best thing you have seen teenagers do lately?

The best thing I've seen teenagers do lately has to be when they did the walk out. They were protesting for their rights in a non violent way which was pretty cool. However, some of the participants were walking out just for fun and others knew why they were walking out and they had a purpose.

What are your plans for Spring Break?

I don't have a lot of plans for Spring Break. I know most of the time I will be doing the running workout that my coach gave me so I could stay in shape. I believe I might also be going out of town, but I'm not too sure about that.

March 20, 2017

What did you do over Spring Break?

During spring break I ran to stay in shape like I planned and I also went to Austin and such with my boyfriend and sister. We went to the mall and just hung out. I also started watching a TV series and it was worth it to binge watch.

Do you know anyone who has made a major change in his or her behavior for the better? What caused them to change?

I know a lot of people who have changed for the better. For example my boyfriend, he was once a huge pot head. After meeting me he stopped.
