After School Activity -- Date Change

Due to some conflicts, the after school activity originally scheduled for Friday, October 26 has been moved to Friday, November 9.

Troybery 2019

The TSD middle school Media Department is proud to announce the first group of potential books, which can be found on our website (link below), that has been chosen for our Troybery 2019 reading program. A mock-Newbery program, the Troybery Program has encouraged Troy middle schoolers since 2000 to read the best middle grade books published that year and then vote on their favorites. Many fantastic books have won over the past 18 years, and we look forward to seeing what the TSD students think of our potentials for this year. Similar to the last two years, we will start with a large list of potential Troyberys, and students will help narrow the list down to the top ten in March through a Troybery Madness tournament. The winner will be announced at the 19th Annual Troybery Awards Ceremony on April 26.

Math Counts Club

The Larson Math Counts team is starting Thursday October 25th at 6 pm. This team is for any student who is interested in problem solving, math strategies, and attending Math competitions. After several sessions students test to see if they qualify for the Larson Math Counts team in February. The team meets in Ms. McHugh’s room 709. The information has been posted on the Larson website and includes meeting dates. Please contact Ms. McHugh smchugh2@troy.k12.mi.us or Srini Kundeti at kundety@gmail.com should you have further questions.

LMS PTO Fundraising – Kroger, Amazon, and More!

It's time to renew or adjust your rewards program! The Larson PTO raises significant funds every year through your normal purchases at Kroger, Amazon, and more! Thanks!

In addition, the LMS PTO gladly welcomes donations, which are tax-deductible. All funds go directly back to student programs and teacher grants. Donations can be dropped off in the LMS main office. See more info below.

Box Tops for Education!

Please send in all of you unexpired neatly trimmed Box Tops. You can bring them in anytime to the Media Center. Help us reach our school year goal of $500.00! Thanks for your support.
