Foundation of reform is a time when we makes changes in our society and the values that exist and it can make a gradual change. We have to make these changes, because there is different problems in society during the Reform Movements.

Abolitionitsts

Abolitionists were people who opposed the laws of the United States and wanted to do something about it. And did do something about it. They did things such as protest and showed what they believed in. They wanted to promote liberty and equality and that was to end slavery.

Women's Rights

Women's rights is, you know. Women's rights. Equal rights for women and men. Women's rights is when women has the right to live free from violence, slavery, discrimination, and many more. Women's right means that they have equal rights like men. They had a few political or legal rights and they couldn't vote.

Prison Reform is when the prisons were used to keep inmates. They upgraded the Prison just to make it more bigger and new things have been upgraded just to secure prisons. They also created a new effective penal system.

Temperance Movement

D O W N T H E R A P I D S O F R U M

The Temperance movement was a time when men, women, and children abuse alcohol. It effected them and caused them to commit crimes, break away from their families, and mental illness. The laws were repealed and it strengthen in the 1800's.

Education Reform

The education reform movement is in the 1800's when education was provided and it was available for all children. Before the 1800's education for children was not available. That's not very good.
