For his age, he's wise. He's got his mother's eyes. There's gladness in his heart. He's young and he's wild. My only prayer is, if I can't be there, Lord, protect my child. - Bob Dylan
Maternity sessions are relaxed and about your story. They typically take place in your home or a nearby location... depending on what type of session and images you desire. Sessions are 1.5 - 2 hours. You are more than welcome to change outfits as well. I want you to be as comfortable as possible. The best time to take your maternity photos is during your seventh month. If you're having more than one baby, then it'll be earlier.
What is the difference between birth photography and a fresh 48? Birth photography entails being on call two weeks prior to your due date and two weeks after your due date. (I will always have a back up photographer on call for you) Your baby's birth story is told from laboring through the delivery process. Every labor and delivery is completely different, which makes your story unique. Do you have more questions about birth photography? Please don't hesitate to contact me. (I take a limited amount of birth clients per month, so please contact me as soon as you decide to document your baby's birth).
Fresh 48 is for those who want to capture your baby's first day, but do not want the whole birth process captured. I arrive to your place of delivery 24 - 48 hours after your baby is born. These moments are of you getting to know your bundle of joy.
While the world is asleep. You can look at it and weep. Few things you find are worthwhile. And though I don't ask for much. No material things to touch Lord, protect my child. - Bob Dylan
