FIRST LOOK DAY MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF HUMAN MEDICINE

The MSU College of Human Medicine will be happily hosting accepted applicants to First Look Day, where attendees will get a deeper look at the college and gain further access to College of Human Medicine administration, faculty, staff, and students. Along with meeting new friendly faces, attendees will enjoy a variety of fun, informative activities on our charming East Lansing campus as well as the Secchia Center in downtown Grand Rapids' Medical Mile.

EVENT INFORMATION

Participants must check in at the Radiology Building Atrium at 7:30am. Please feel free to review the First Look Day Agenda via the button below. In addition, see VISITING EAST LANSING and VISITING GRAND RAPIDS to learn more about traveling to and lodging in each location.

Please be sure to indicate your food preferences on the RSVP form, provided via the email invitation. Along with a light breakfast to start the day, we will also be serving lunch in East Lansing followed by an evening dinner in Grand Rapids.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

MSU MAIN CAMPUS - EAST LANSING

Parking on MSU's main campus will be validated for Visitor Lot #100, directly adjacent to the Radiology Building. Public transportation as well as taxi and popular ride-sharing services are available on campus.

SECCHIA CENTER - GRAND RAPIDS

Secchia Center visitors may park on level P3 near the west end of the parking structure. When you enter the ramp, take a ticket from the dispenser. Follow visitor parking signage. Once arrived, use the green painted elevator bay furthest to the west and take the elevator to the first floor. Public transportation is ample across the city as are taxi and ride-sharing options.

DRESS CODE

It is not necessary to dress formally for the day--appropriate casual wear is fine. However, shorts, T-shirts, and tank tops are discouraged. Be sure to review the forecast and please dress accordingly.
