Michael Jordan, an American All Star basketball player was born on February 17, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York. Jordan left college after his junior year to leave for the NBA. He was drafted to the Chicago Bulls with the 3rd overall pick in the NBA draft. The first year in the NBA Jordan led his team to the playoffs and lost in the eastern conference finals to the Detroit Pistons. 3 years later Jordan has took his team to the NBA finals and won his first championship in 1991. Jordan retired and then played baseball for the Chicago Whitesox AAA team. He came back out of retirement and won 5 more championships later in his career. The most important thing about Michael Jordan was his style on the court. He created his own shoe which went from retro 1 to retro 28. These shoes boosted Michael Jordan's career and was the first NBA player to create his own shoe and play with them on in the game. People loved the idea of this and followed after Michael Jordan. Today players like Lebron James, Stephen Curry and James Harden all have their own shoes, because of Jordan.
