Phosphorus By: George Sulkowski

Physical and Chemical properties

Some physical properties are solid, hard, and usually inn a red and white form. Phosphorus is also used in match heads, which against friction, will ignite. Glows in the dark. Phosphorus is insoluble in water. It also is very reactive, alloyed with bronze, and also very poisonous. Phosphorus is in group 15 in the periodic table, so it has 5 valence electrons and not super reactive, but reactive. It's in group 3, so it has 3 energy rings of electrons.

Position on the periodic table

Phosphorus is in group 15 in the periodic table, so it has 5 valence electrons and not super reactive, but reactive. It's in group 3, so it has 3 energy rings of electrons. Phosphorus is in the same group as Nitrogen, Arsenic, Antimony, and Bismuth.

The phosphorus atom has 15 electrons and 5 valence electrons.

The phosphorus atom has 15 electrons and 5 valence electrons. it also has 15 protons and 16 neutrons. It is somewhat reactive with other elements.

This chemical formula is phosphoric acid. 3 hydrogen, 1 phosphorus, and 4 oxygen atoms.

Slogan

It’s important to know, if your going to grow, that phosphorus and oxygen is the way to go.
