Community Service in High School By: Brita Andersen

Community service is an opportunity for students to learn outside the classroom.

Students can get a more hands-on approach to learning rather than sitting in a classroom.

They learn that they can make a difference in the world and in their community.

Students learn to value helping others and serving the community around them.

They learn leadership and teamwork skills through working with others.
