Term 1a, week 6

We really enjoy our Spanish lessons with Senora Holden.

This week, we have been learning to construct and pronounce sentences in Spanish, explaining where we are travelling to and the mode of transport we are taking.

Senora Holden was so impressed that she sent Mrs Bewick a message explaining how blown away she was with our work and how well we constructed sentences and how accurate we were with our pronunciation.

Mrs Bewick was very proud of us.

Manha was in Golden Book, this week, for extra work she had carried out at home. She researched and wrote a non-chronological report about The Great Wall of China which she was inspired to do by the work we are doing about China.

Nelly also impressed us this week and was in Golden Book for extra work she had done at home too. We had a little discussion about what a ‘medium’ is since one of the characters in out class reader is one. Inspired by this, she went home and did some more research about it and informed the class the next day. Great work Nelly!

Sienna was our Star of the Week, this week. She received this for the fab home learning she did, accessing her work on Seesaw and joining in with our live lessons via Teams. It meant that when she returned to school, she hadn’t missed any learning and slotted straight back in. Great work Sienna!
