a note from the pianist: I was born and raised in Memphis then graduated from Kingsbury High in 1970 and Rhodes College in 1973. I won the Mid South Youth Talent Contest in 1970 and was one of the original founders of Performing Arts. My musical BARK! was performed to great acclaim at Theatre Memphis a few years back and I have performed at the Levitt Overton Shell. I am thrilled to be coming to Germantown UMC this August and playing for the music loving members of your community!

"As a pianist David Francis can do anything. He hits the right notes with the right tone at the right time. (What more can you ask of any performer?) And with this, he adds that indefinable element of himself, which is the magic of all true interpreters." Ned Rorem, Composer, Pulitzer Prize winner for music
