How the Epiphany is celebrated in other countries? Olivia moore 1-13-17

When the three wise men came and brought gifts to Jesus, this became known as the epiphany. The epiphany is celebrate on January 6th every year in Italy.

In Italy the epiphany is also known as La Befana. La Befana comes from a story that is about a woman in Italy who flies on a broomstick and brings presents to children. La Befana is believed to be searching for Jesus as a baby.

In Italy, their are people dressed up as the three magi parading around in the streets. Many businesses are closed down for these parades.
