WHAT IS TYPOGRAPHY?
Letterpress printing/the style, arrangement, or typeset matter.
Typography in our own words: The font or style of a text and how its set up.
Some additional parts to typography are x-height, baseline, and kerning. The baseline is the imaginary line which is on top of a lowercase letter and also at the bottom of a lowercase letter. X-height is the distance between the baseline of a line of type and tops of the main body of lower case letters. Kerning is just the space adjustment between letters.

WHAT IS PROXIMITY?
Nearness in space, time, or relationship.
Proximity in our own words: Placement of images in relation to one another.(How close images are).
An additional part of proximity is the principle of proximity which states that related items should be grouped together while unrelated items should be placed farther apart. This principle is very important as it ensures that everything is in a neat and organized layout and helps prevent clutter. If objects are organized in this way with little space in between, the audience will perceive unity and sophistication.
