One of the themes of this novel is survival. Explain why the setting of this story adds to or contributes to the theme. Surviving is when your stranded and you have to rely on nature to give you what you need to survive. But getting supply's and food isnt as easy as it sounds. Surviving is hard when your not experienced When they crashed in the book "Lord of the flies" they crashed an airplane and hit a island. They ended up having to survive because no one knew where they were and they had no food.

Is there a beast on the island? -yes, Eric and Sam experienced the beast chasing them down the mountain, and the beast almost touched one of them. -the beast left no trace on the ground so it had to have been swinging from the vines.

Describe the Beast that seems to be stalking the island. Use the text as backup for your info. -The beast that seems to be stalking the island may have long arms because it swings from vines. In my opinion i don't think theirs a beast on the island. Like the movie 'Cast Away', if you've ever been somewhere at a long period of time you might get paranoid. Tom hanks, the main character was tripping because he hasn't been home in 8 years. Sam and Eric might have been hallucinating and wasn't really seeing the beast.

Two rituals people are most familiar with are weddings and funerals. Pick an event (a wedding or a funeral). Make a list of at least 3 phrases people use at the event you picked. Using one of your phrases, explain why your phrase is helpful in the situation. At Funerals, Family, friends mainly use the phrase "i'm so sorry for your loss". They use that because their showing respect for the one who lost someone. Another one would be 'He or she was a very good person'. A third one would be ' You are in my prayers'. All those phrases gives the special someone support with what their going through.

Choose a character, either Ralph or Jack and explain the effect seeing the Beast has on the character you have chosen. Use textual information to support your answer.

"you'll get back"

Diffrent When Ralph saw the "beast" he was very vague about his surroundings .The book said "he bound himself together with his will, fused his fear and loathing into a hatred, and stood up. He took two leaden steps forward." That line in the book means Ralph isn't scared to take a chance.

Retell in your own words what has happened to Simon. Use textual evidence to help you create a vivid paragraph.

In life people create groups. These groups might be at school, in sports, in extracurricular activities, and through religious organizations. Explain what needs groups fill for people. Explain both the positive and negative aspects of being part of a group. You may relate this to our novel, or you may make it a person reflection of your own experience. When i'm at football practice theirs bullying all over the field. There's people judging people by the way they practice or play the game.

What did you think about the novel? Dear students, At first i was lost until we got in the middle of the book when i realized that there was a war going on.

Explain how you best enjoyed the novel: the British man, reading on your own, or me reading. I liked your reading because you make it actually seem like its real. The British reading kinda had no tone to his reading. When a exiting part was about to be read he just stayed bland. When you read it makes us feel like we wanna hear more!
