49ers Announce Winners of the "Follow Your Bliss" Award Grants

49ers EDU presented by Chevron announced the five Bay Area educators and administrators chosen as winners of the fourth-annual Dr. Harry Edwards "Follow Your Bliss" Award program. All award winners have gone above and beyond in providing for their students during the COVID-19 pandemic and distance learning. Thanks to the 49ers Foundation, Extra Yard for Teachers, and Micron Technology, a total of $25,000 will be given out to the winners for use in their schools and classrooms. In a virtual award ceremony, winners were recognized in front of their friends and family and shared words of inspiration of what motivates them to follow their bliss. For more information about each award winner click here.

49ers EDU presented by Chevron leverages the game of football and Levi’s Stadium as platforms to excite children about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) concepts, sparking and fueling an interest in these subjects with students at an early age. 49ers EDU is steadfast in its commitment to serving students, teachers, and families—especially those furthest from resource and opportunity—to ensure our community's future workforce will be prepared through high quality and fun STEAM education.
