The position Retail Experience Manager

The Retail Experience Manager leads the development of the shopper experience and customer journey in the BASE shops. You define the role of retail in BASE's omni-channel strategy. Your mission is to revolutionize the way new and existing customers experience their shops.

The context: Agile and human centered.

At BASE, you will be part of an agile structure with high empowerment and close team collaboration in a multidisciplinary squad. Each squad works on a specific topic during a two weeks sprint, focused on experimentation. Within the squad methodologies like Design Thinking and Lean Start-up are highly valued.

Your responsibilities.

You are responsible for and have a large impact on the total shopper experience.

You continuously aim to improve the experience by gathering shopper insights in traditional and non-traditional ways.

You analyze current retail performance in depth and spot opportunities for improvement.

You contribute to the backlog with ideas originating from consumer insights.

You put ideas in motion by launching experiments in the shops and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure quick implementation and execution of plans.

You have ownership of the retail customer journey and must make sure it fits seamlessly into the omni-channel strategy

You co-create the BASE shop of the future and launch a test-shop by the end of 2019

You create a vision for the future retail experience and footprint.

You set up small-scale experiments in the current BASE shops to test new ideas.

Between 5 and 8 years of relevant experience in retail?

A bachelor or masters degree?

Affinity with digitization in retail?

Experience in managing and coordinating agencies?

A language knob: FR-NL-EN and well-aware of the Brussels and Southern environment?
