Josie Green Digital Photography 1 - Period 5

This assignment was shoes. I chose to take the photo from an unexpected point of view, in order to do this I had to remove my own shoes at school.
This assignment was color explosion. It was difficult to find colorful things at my school but luckily the leaves were such a beautiful vibrant color!
In this photo I tried to use all the elements of composition. This photo contains rule of thirds, point of view, simplicity, contrast, leading lines and diagonals.
I love this photo because the process of making it was very fun and no one else painted a butterfly with light.
I really like this photo because its very simple but has many elements of composition within it.

I make my art to visually show how beautiful the world around us is. I get inspired to make my art by seeing photos of landscapes. After seeing these photos, I really notice gorgeous things that would make a great photo. My art represents nature and life. When I take a photo I try to make it original as possible. Using techniques like an unexpected point of view can make a photo completely different from others. What my art means to me is that no matter how simple, how gorgeous, or how ugly something can be, photography can make it truly breathtaking.
