Stephen Hawking

Stephen Hawking was born “January 8, 1942 in Oxford, England” and attended college at “the University of Oxford through 1959-1962 .Then ,went to Trinity Hall, Cambridge through 1962-1966 .”

While Stephen Hawking was in college at the University of Oxford he wanted to study in mathematics, but it wasn't available so instead he studied physics and soon found a love for it. Then, Stephen Hawking graduated from Oxford and wanted to study more physics so he attended Trinity Hall, Cambridge.

Then bad news arrived , Stephen Hawking fell walking out in the courtyard one day and went for a checkup and was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. ALS is a A nervous system disease that weakens muscles and impacts physical function.

Then went on with his love for science and started to study black holes.As Stephen went on with studying black holes he started to notice something and he wanted to find out what it was. So he would stay up to three in the morning for at least five months trying to figure it out what it was and finally he did.Stephen Hawking discovered that black holes emit radiation which can be detected by special instrumentation.
