Boom to Bust 1920's & 1930's

Citizens are taking their money out of the bank before they go even further into debt.
Many unemployed citizens are taking advantage of the food that they are being offered.
The downturn of the economy caused many people to lose their jobs.
Unemployed men just got on trains hoping it could take them somewhere away from their problems.
Hoovervilles were a lot of small, shack-like places to live. This is all that people could afford.
Adults could no longer afford to even care for their own children
A family of at least 5 has to make-do in a very small. run-down shack
Many people were completely homeless and didn't have anywhere to stay
