Winter Tour 2016

On Monday, December 19, the Briarhill Middle School Band, Choir and Orchestra were able to spread some holiday cheer at Highland Village, Heritage and McAuliffe Elementary Schools. It was an honor to be allowed into these schools and share our student's talent with the community.

Elementary Performances

The Briarhill Band had the opportunity to perform in front of hundreds of Elementary students. Our hope is that the students enjoyed the music they heard and are excited about potentially becoming a member of the Briarhill Band Family.

Leon the Grumpy Elf!!

The Briarhill Band played "The Dirary of a Grumpy Efl" which included a narrated part by Leon, the grumpy elf. Ms. Cook conducted the band while Mr. Graham narrated Leon's list of complaints. The list includes a heat wave of 25 degrees below zero, toy soldiers fighting, and reindeer harnesses with cowbells instead of sleigh bells. We hope the Elementary students enjoyed Leon!!

Congrats to our Choir and Orchestra friends for their wonderful performances on the Winter Tour

The orchestra played an awesome arrangement of Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Carol of the Bells." The choir had arrangements of "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch" and the Pentatonix' "White Winter Hymnal". Great job!!

The Abominable Snowman Chase!!

At first the snowman greets the students and dances for them. Suddenly, a gruesome dinosaur appears and the chase begins!! We hope the audience enjoyed the performance as much as we did!
