Junior League 95th Gala Art Deco luxe meets Art deco Miami

I'm envisioning two vibes for this event. For the formal dinner, given the design of the Belle Meade Country Club, it would be nice to do the classic, white look in gold, art deco vases utilizing a hint tropical greens. Very classy, glamorous and very art deco or old Hollywood. However, with the afterparty we'd like to signal to everyone that it's time to let loose and get down. It would also be fun to show people something they haven't already seen at a wedding. I'm suggesting a transition from luxe, Gatsby deco to fun, tropical deco. Featuring tropical leaves and big white King Proteas, reminiscent of the Art Deco architecture that dots the coast of Miami Beach. Keeping it white and green will keep it classy and refined. Having both themes reflect an art deco sensibility will tie everything together while still signaling to all the guests that there are two different vibes for the dinner and the afterparty.

Given the opulence of the club and the photos presented at our meeting I'm suggesting low white arrangements using white king protea, a few other white flowers and a subtle touch of tropical foliage in a gold, art deco vases. The ornate design of the club does so much to create a mood for the event already, not much needs to be added. By relying on what already exists in the room we can save funds for the afterparty where more of a splash will be needed.

similar in feeling to this but low.

To create maximum impact and show people something they haven't seen we are going to create multiple hanging installations composed of large tropical leaves of various kinds, also featuring large white king protea.
