ONLINE SAFETY COURSE European Schoolnet Academy

Rosa´s Gaspar Learning Diary

Hello, I´m Rosa Luísa and a I am a primary teacher. I'm a Portuguese eTwinning Amabassador as well as Scientix Ambassador. I've been teaching in Primary School for more than twenty nine years. I was born to be a Primary teacher and now I moved to teaching other subjects.

Actually I am a teacher trainer in my region.

As I said before I'm an eTwinning ambassador. I've been working in the eTwinning platform since 2011. Since the very first moment I started working in eTwinning projects, I realized that partnerships are very useful for me and my students as they give me the opportunity to enhance my professionally thanks to partners' skills, ideas and materials exchange and they give my students the opportunity to use a real communicative,to better their collaborative competences, their ICT skills and to be creative.

ICT is, in fact, a great help to work both on creativity and on collaboration and cooperative learning.

I have many passions but the ones I love the most are practicing sport and learning foreign languages and reading. I also love travelling that I consider the best way of using money!

Innovation, cooperation and colaborative work...

I do my best to innovate my teaching as students are not the same students we were in our childhood. It's necessary that we all move towards innovation. I think it's important that we teach our students to be propositive, creative, collaborative, passionate. We create the future citizens!!!!

Where do I come from?

I come from a beautiful Island in the middle of Atlantic Ocean called Madeira. I actually live in Ponta do Sol a suburban area. I come from a beautiful Island in the middle of Atlantic Ocean called Madeira. I actually live in Ponta do Sol a suburban area. Look where Ponta do Sol is on the map...
