Text Setup

Text Requirements

  • Fonts must be from Adobe Fonts, including unused/hidden text layers.
  • All text must be editable - no outlined or flattened text will be accepted.
  • All text should be in full or .5 pt/px sizes - no other fractional sizes are allowed.
  • The minimum acceptable font size is 8 pt. Anything smaller is subject to rejection for legibility reasons.
  • Character settings should be utilized: special text should be using the proper formatting tools (i.e. text in all caps should be using the All Caps tool).
  • Check and ensure that there is no overset text - text that doesn’t fit in the text object needs to be cleared or the object needs to be resized.

Text Content

General Content Guidelines

  • Do not use personal brand name, Adobe, Adobe Apps, or other brand names in the template, or layers.

  • Any placeholder text should use lorem ipsum and very generic names, streets etc. where possible. (see image below).
  • Avoid IP infringement - don't use real names and references to identifiable people, companies, and locations.
  • Mobile and web templates (such as UI kits, social media kits, etc.) meant to be used with certain apps and/or devices should only be described with referential phrasing such as "for Facebook" or "for iPhone" etc. for legal compliance.
  • Images/Mockups of objects should not include brand names. (I.e., using 'IPhone' with a smart phone mockup
