Seventh Sunday of Easter May 24th, 2020

This is the Seventh and penultimate Sunday of the Easter Season; forty-two calendar days since this celebratory season began on Resurrection Sunday with shouts of "He is Risen!" This special time draws to a close now just as it did nearly two thousand years ago, with the eyes of the believers in this world fixed on the heavens above, looking to the High Priest who cares for them, casting their anxieties on Him, and singing songs to Him who rides upon the clouds.

May you continue to celebrate the resurrection of our Risen Lord throughout the entire Easter Season, growing closer to Him through the reading of His Word.

A Prayer

O God of glory, your Son Jesus Christ suffered for us and ascended to your right hand. Unite us with Christ and each other, in suffering and in joy, that all your children may be drawn into your bountiful dwelling. Amen.
