2019 Community Impact Report

As the Round Rock Express enter their 21st season, ownership and management continue to challenge the staff and fans to find ways to improve. As an organization, the Express place a high value on innovation and do whatever it takes to ensure that Dell Diamond continues to promote America’s national pastime in a safe, fun, friendly, and exciting atmosphere that allows fans and players alike to enjoy the game. The Round Rock Express are committed to standing out as a landmark and pillar of the community.

Baseball/Softball Development

Express Camps

The Express hosted 10 camps and served over 500 kids.

Youth League Nights

Dell Diamond hosted over 4000 baseball and softball players and raised over $5400 for 14 leagues in 2019.

UIL State Baseball Championships

This year, 26 teams hosting a total of over 250 players participated at these events.

RBI Austin

The Express donated over 1150 tickets with a value of $3500 to the program in 2019. Additionally, the Round Rock Express hosted RBI regional games at Dell Diamond.

Community Outreach

In 2019, Spike and the Promo Team made appearances at fundraisers, assemblies, sporting events, ribbon cuttings, throughout the year.

Community Partnerships

With partners we are able to have programs that give back to the community such as Swing for Success, Community Partner Program, Dell Gives Back, Good Sport Program, and Salute to Our Heroes.

Covering Home

The Express have been able to assist more than 12 organizations with over 300 hours of community service.

In-Game Fundraising and Awareness

The Express were able to help over 600 organizations by giving/raising more than $500,000 and over 2,500 pounds of various goods.

50/50 Raffle

The Round Rock Express and the Nolan Ryan Foundation came together to host 50/50 raffles all season long. Fans had an opportunity to purchase tickets for a chance to at winning half of the money pot at each of the 70 home games. In all over $60,000 was contributed to 22 Kill, BiG Brookwood, Hope Alliance, JKL Foundation, and Miracle League, Town & Country.

Military Appreciation

Every season, the Express are proud to partner with those that have served in our military and donated more than 41,000 tickets worth over $440,000.

Youth Programs

The Express host a number of youth programs in 2019, including Baseball Buddies, Kids Club, and Spike's Reading Program. Through these programs, over 5700 tickets where donated.
