It is recommended that you post twice a week. This post should include a picture of some of the most recent designs that you have done and a promotion of your company.


An example of an Instagram post

It is recommended that you post three time a week to Instagram because it is a much more picture based medium. This medium would help you to expand the number of potential customers you can reach. The picture based medium means that people can base their decision on the art work that you produce.


An example of a twitter post

It is recommended that you post once a week on Twitter. You would use the #cooltattoodesigns and #piercings to both advertise the companies services but to increase the chance of it coming up when someone searches for tattoo designs. On Twitter posts are categorized through the hashtag, so the more likely that someone will search for a topic that is related to the hashtags the more likely your tweets will be viewed.


If you have an increase in social media presence your customer pool will increase due to the fact you post with more regularity and therefore examples of your artwork are available to a wider range of people. There is also the suggestion to make your own website. This would allow people who are thinking about getting a tattoo easily access information about your company and it allows them to see what kind of artwork you do.
