Evidence of Fossils

How do we know about what was here before us?

Fossils provide us with a history of the Earth.

Fossils can show us the animals roamed the Earth before us and with us that are no longer here. They can give us an idea of what they ate, the environment they lived in, and even a glimpse into how they lived.

Fossils allow us to see what vegetation grew providing food, shelter, and clean air for the animals that inhabited Earth during that time in history.
