EVERY NATION MINISTRIES 2016 YEAR-END REPORT

"First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ all of you, because your faith is proclaimed in the world. For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I mention you always in my prayers, asking that somehow by God's will I may now at last succeed in coming to you. For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you- that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine." - Romans 1:8-12

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." - Isaiah 9:6

There are a lot of things to be thankful of this passed 2016. A lot of reasons to rejoice for God have been so faithful in our midst as He did amazing and great things in our ministry. We had so much events that happened this 2016 for our student leaders be more equipped and empowered in making disciples and training leaders.

We started this year by kicking-off with our annual event, Discipleship Convergence. CHARGE was the theme of our Discipleship Convergence 2016. This event was made for the leaders to be more empowered not by their own strength or power but by depending in the power of the Holy Spirit.

We got a chance to pray as well for our nation before the election and every sector of our society.
Gladly, 15 of our student leaders attended this said event and even got more empowered and filled by the Holy Spirit and were so ready to go back to their campus to reach their classmate, friends and even their professors and every personnel in their campus.

We also had ONE Conference this year wherein the goal of this event was to unite every student leaders and churches in reaching the campus, every cities and this nation for Jesus. The students were taught how to be more united with one another thru activities that we had. It was held in Caliraya, Laguna last May 31 to June 2, 2016 and surprisingly, God allowed 24 student leaders and interns from our church in Victory Tanauan and Sto. Tomas to join the said event.

We even got the chance to joined in the ONE Conference in Metro Manila last June 30 in Philippine Sports Arena, Pasig City. We got empowered as well when Dr. Rice Brooks, the author of God's Not Dead and Man Myth Messiah and co-founder of Every Nation Ministries, shared to us what to know when sharing the gospel and reaching the campus for Jesus.

We also had a chance to be part of the Ten Days Team from Victory Lipa that went to DaNang, Vietnam last August 17 - 29, 2016 and a special team from Victory Batangas that went to Yokosuka, Japan. During the Ten Days trip, we experienced a real deal mission trip. We didn't get the chance to engage students in their campus during our mission trip in DaNang because of the security purpose. DaNang, Vietnam is a Creative Access Nation which means Christianity is not allowed in their city. That's why what we did, we created a beach party and English party for us to be closer and get engaged with the locals. Almost same with what we did in Yokosuka, Japan, a Nominal-Nation which is much easier for us to enter the campus and engage students there. Both trips were so fruitful and very encouraging for we saw how God moved in the midst of our mission trip.
We ended 2016 with our annual Volunteer's Appreciation Night. Wherein we gather our volunteers and appreciate them and made them know that their service is being appreciated not just the staffs but especially by our Almighty Father. As you can see, most of our volunteers are students who are really passionate in serving God, that even some of them are serving in two different ministry. Indeed, God is the One who's sustaining the strength for these students that even at the young age they wholeheartedly serve God not asking anything for exchange or in return, it's just them doing it in love for God.

There's really one story that I do believe will encourage you as well. His story I would define is Don't Judge the Book by it's Cover.

This guy is David John Catala a.k.a DJ (guy in left wearing green shirt). You'll never knew that he'll be the guy that will stand in front and proclaim God's word. With an arms that full of tattoos, you'll thought of that this man would really need a Savior cause probably he'd done so much bad things in the past. He grew up with his mom but sadly 4 years ago, his mom passed away because of cancer. Now he's living with his auntie and uncle, a guy who happened to be only child, now living in his own. I got the chance to do One2One with him until such a time where he already lead his own Victory Group. And now, he's not just leading his Victory Group but God gave him another platform, as a preacher. He's now preaching in our Youth Service every Friday and boldly proclaiming God's greatness and glory and encouraging our students that God can even do greater things than what God did in his life. Not just that, he's even aspiring to become a Campus Missionary as well someday. Indeed, God is so powerful that He can turn a stone heart into a soft heart like cotton.

This wouldn't be possible without God's grace and power and without your passion in reaching every student and every people in campuses, cities and even in nations. For you play a vital role here in this ministry and I say to you what also Paul said in the church of Corinth.

Once again, there's no words that I could say but...
