Getting to Know Me Amelia Casella

Hello, my name is Amelia Casella. I am from New Jersey, although I was born in China. I was adopted when I was an infant. I am the youngest in my family and I have a brother and a sister. My family is very important to me and also includes a cat and a dog. My parents have had a significant impact on shaping me into the person I am today and have always been supportive, especially when it comes to my academic endeavors. My father, being a teacher, has always encouraged me to challenge myself and set goals. Although I tend to think of myself as an easy-going person, I take my education and studies very seriously. I am majoring in accounting and want to become a CPA in the future. Despite the more analytical side of me, I would like to think of myself as a relatively creative person. I enjoy drawing and I can play the flute, but I find myself most often expressing who I am through my style and the clothing I wear. To me, fashion is a fun medium that allows people to exemplify themselves to others without the use of verbal communication. I believe personal style is unique to everyone and can help tell a lot about a person. At this point, I think it goes without being said that one of my hobbies is shopping; however being a college student I tend to lack the funds necessary to engage in this activity regularly. Although I would not consider myself much of an athlete, I do play tennis from time to time. It is an activity that I would like to spend more time doing and becoming better at. Hopefully, this has allowed you to learn a little more about me and you enjoyed this brief glimpse into my life.
