Summary of Mother Teresa's life.
Mother Teresa as a Prophet
Mother Teresa was always trying to deliver a message that didn’t originate with her, but through God the Father. Mother Teresa gracefully preached, “Before you speak, it is necessary for you to listen, for God speaks in the silence of the heart.” Mother Teresa is a modern prophet because she gave herself fully and devoted her life to Jesus’ cause. Mother Teresa's message to all was to forgive even if one has done something very wrong, it is best to forgive. Mother Teresa's influence on others brought a sense of peace and prosperity to her society. She showed loving, selfless acts of kindness to everyone. She dedicated her life to serve others in the word of God. She was never reluctant to help someone in need.
"Let us always meet each other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love." -Mother Teresa
Mother Teeresa as Priest
Mother Teresa can qualify for priest because of many different ways. She offers a true sacrifice while knowing that God has the power over us. She sacrificed her comfort in the convent to help the poor and destitute of Calcutta. She helps the sick and the ill and also tried to get the people to turn to God in their hour of need.
"Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier." -Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa as King
"A king is a person who has supreme authority over a territory. When the Jewish people were ruled by kings, they became a nation. They longed for a Messiah who would again make them great." Mother Teresa qualified for this title because she traveled and had much influence over land. She spent her life committed to serving others. She ran many homes, healthcare clinics, and homes for the sick and dying. She traveled around the world on mission trips and quickly spreading her teachings and message of God. She was the leader of the missionaries of charity and other service organizations.
"Peace begins with a smile." -Mother Teresa
Jesus Christ as Prophet
A prophet of God is someone who reveals God, speaks for God, and communicates to people the truths that God wants them to know. Jesus qualifies as a prophet because he is the Son of God, he spoke the truth and built and established the faith on earth. He performed acts and miracles that were so extraordinary and that nobody unless they were blessed by the grace of God could've done. Jesus refers to himself as a prophet. In Luke 13:33 Jesus says “Just at that time some Pharisees came up, saying to Him, “go away depart from here, for Herod wants to kill you .” And he said to them, “Go tell them that fox, behold, I cast out demons and performs cures dogs and tomorrow, and third day I reach day I reach my goal” Neverless I must journey today and tomorrow, and the next day; for it cannot be that a prophet should perish outside of Jerusalem.” He said that in that verse because Jesus knew that he was going to die, but he cannot do it outside of Jerusalem. Also in Matthew 13:57 Jesus speaks about a prophet having no honor in his home town, and that is by he did not do many miracles there. Clearly, Jesus is referring to himself as a prophet.
"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me." -Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ as Priest
Jesus is a priest in the sense that he is a way from God to humans. Not to mention that one qualifying factor is that of sacrificing, which Jesus did. His sacrifice doesn't not have to be repeated, because he opened the doors to heaven to all of us. Jesus is mentioned as one of the greatest priests, the result of being divine and human. Jesus Christ is notably the best example of priest, he serves as a bar holder for the rest of us.
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me." -Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ as King
Jesus Christ qualifies as King for several reasons. First he is the Son of God, the most high, and creator of the universe. He is both 100% God and 100% Man. He also started and spread Christianity to disciples, and his disciples helped popularize the religion and spread it world-wide. Another reason that proves that he is king is that he performed many miracles through the grace of God, such as, turning water into wine, and raising people from the dead.
