Air Drop is a fast convenient way to transfer files!
But you can protect your device from unwanted file shares by leaving your air drop OFF or on Contacts Only.
From the Finder-
Click Go--then Airdrop
From here you can choose how your device is shown to other devices.
Don't Accept Files From People that YOU Do Not Know!
If you receive an unexpected file from an unknown source just hit Decline.
