Dad's Weekend November, 2016

So excited to return for my 2nd Dad's weekend during Jack's sophomore year of college!

My first stop was checking into The Edgewater...I had a great view from my room...the capital to my left and the lake to my right and the Fiji house a block in front of me!

Since I had a few hours to kill before seeing Jack, I decided to take a walk down memory lane on a beautiful late fall afternoon.

A view from the bottom of Bascom Hill

The colorful Union Terrace... on of my favorite places filled with fun memories during college and later with our family

Jack looks pretty comfortable here!

The Memorial Union and The College Library

A glance back at the apartments, fraternities and sororities on the lake

On to the start of The Lakeshore Path...

Bicyclists, runners, and walkers all out enjoying the afternoon

The sailboats all put away for winter...

Enjoying the rest after a busy summer...

The colors of fall in the trees and on the bottoms of the boats

So many memories walking and running on this path as a student...a bit of quiet away from the busy campus scene

Beautiful fall colors...

A colorful, calm lake

Colors at their peak....

A walk through the Lakeshore dorms where I lived freshman and sophomore year...

The legend of Pete Montana was created here...

A walk through the heart of campus...

Abe sitting at the top of Bascom Hill...

Abe has a nice view of the fall colors, the campus, and the State Capital

Bascom Hall

Finally the reason why I came... to see Jack! What a great time being with him and his friends!
