God's calling to Jim: January 2nd 1956 Jim Elliot landed in Ecuador to preach the gospel to the Huaorani tribe, he could tell God was calling him to do so.

Jim's accomplishments and contributions: After his death, the Auca tribe became Christians. Jim also converted the Quicha tribe to become Christians. he inspired many others to become missionaries and preach the gospel to foreign countries.
