"Going Big" John Banovich at the Texart Workshop - May 2016

Painting big is dramatic.

Like experiencing a movie at an IMAX theater.

Big Landscape and big animals inspire us on a deeper level when presented on a large canvas, but how does one do it? Where do you get the materials and the tools required to pull off big things, with big teeth on big canvases?

John Banovich has completed approximately 100 large canvases and in this workshop he will take you step by step through his process…

You will learn how he develops these massive paintings... from his original concept sketches, to material prep, preparation of tools, lighting issues, and sketching on these large canvases.

John will share with you how to avoid the pitfalls when painting large... as well as his techniques to add drama, balance and harmony to your artwork.

Finally he will share with you his ideas and experiences with marketing and selling large canvases.

There will be plenty of time for questions and answers during and at the end of John's workshop session.
