Students Should Choose Their Own Books Visual Pitch Assignment

On the left it shows what students of Mt. Hope High School feel about reading currently, that all they read are dusty old books, and that they never read on their own for fun. On the right it shows a variety of different books that students may enjoy and will hopefully turn them on to reading.

A student reading a book that she actually enjoys because she was able to choose it herself.

A student who is not turned off of reading because she knows that there are books out there that she will enjoy.

So many young people do not see the merits of reading books for fun because they believe that all books are boring. This is a stigma on books that needs to be changed by the implementation of a book choice program.
