War Story Written and Developed By Andrew Bush

"War Story" was created in mind of providing an origin to possible mind altering and perspective changing events that can happen while serving active duty.

The idea came to be a non-fictional story to convey a message about a soldier who had seen battle to have it not live up to his expectations and inevitably damage him.

After engaging in this activity, the nameless soldier implicitly was on the receiving end of mental damage, in the form of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Overall, this story was to bring light to action seen while serving that causes sometimes, and more often than not, permanent mental illnesses.

“When we feel weak, we drop our heads on the shoulders of others. Don't get mad when someone does that. Be honored. For that person trusted you enough to, even if subtly, ask you for help.” ― Lori Goodwin

If you have a family member, friend, or acquaintance who you think is struggling with a mental disorder, please help them find help for themselves, because the hardest part of recovering is finding help.
