Introduction to the Sport Industry Government Strategy for Sport

Since 2002, there have been 3 strategy for sport introduced by the UK's Government. These include:

The Game Plan 2002, Playing to Win 2008, and Creating a Sporting habit for Life 2012.

Post London 2012 Olympic Games - Creating a lasting legacy for sport in the UK

CREATING A SPORTING HABIT FOR LIFE AND THE SCHOOL GAMES

The Government have now introduced a new strategy for 2015 called "A Sporting Future".

You should explore this strategy and analyse the key investment areas within it. You should explore the objectives and the key target groups of this new strategy. If you have time you should try to evaluate this strategy, identifying its strengths and weaknesses. Lastly to extend your understanding you could compare this to previous strategies for sport.
