The Ninth Tuesday We talk about how love goes on

Its the ninth Tuesday and the lesson for that Tuesday is how love goes on. Morrie tells Mitch that love is how you stay alive, even when your gone. Morrie says he will not be forgotten because he will live on though love. Morries father didn't show a lot of love before he died. Morrie also says that you cant substitute money for love and that the meaning to life is devoting yourself to love others.

Morrie says, "I dont think I will be. I've got so many people who have been involved with me in close, intimate ways. And love is how you stay alive, even after you are gone"(Albom133). This quote means that you should always love no matter what your condition is.

The heart is the symbol for love

The heart represents love and Morrie teaches Mitch to pass it on to one another. Morrie said to Mitch that love is a very powerful thing.

The message that you should get from this chapter is that love is the most powerful thing in the world. Love carries on for ever even when you are dead and that love has a huge impact on people.
