Daily Talk WITH GOD

"Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people)."

“Pray, therefore, like this:

Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed (kept holy) be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven (left, remitted, and let go of the debts, and have given up resentment against) our debtors. And lead (bring) us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. Ps 19:14 KJV

Father, empower me through my union with You. I draw my strength from You [that strength which Your boundless might provides]. I put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which You supply], that I may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For I am not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. Therefore I put on God's complete armor, that I may be able to resist and stand my ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in my place]. I stand therefore [hold my ground], having tightened the belt of truth around my loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God, And having shod my feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace. [Isa. 52:7.] I lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which I can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one]. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God.

Father I ask that you grant me the [freedom of] utterance, that I may open my mouth to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news (the Gospel),”

“Father, I will, desire, decide and remind my being to love You the Lord my God out of and with my whole heart and out of and with all my soul (my life) and out of and with all my mind (with my faculty of thought and my moral understanding) and out of and with all my strength.

Father, give me the grace to obey you out of my love for You, may Your love flow out from my sonship that I may love my neighbor as myself. [Lev. 19:18.]”

Father, grant me a wise and understanding heart, able to discern good from evil
Turn my heart of stone into a heart of flesh.
Give me a tough mind and a tender heart.

I keep my eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects my faith. Heb12:2
