Big Dog Productions Company Picnic June 9, 2018 - Armuchee, Georgia

It was a gorgeous day in the country to gather with friends, family, clients and colleagues for our company picnic. It was a little hot and humid, but the sky was blue and the grass was green. There was a lot of great fun, food, and fellowship!

The food was delicious! The menu included barbecue pork and barbecue beef, chicken fingers, black-eyed peas, green beans, fried okra, macaroni and cheese, and sliced tomatoes. Beverages included lemonade, tea, soft drinks, beer and water. Dessert featured banana pudding, apple pie, plus some assorted candies and cookies. A little watermelon and some popsicles were an added treat. This was good old country cooking!

The horses were a big hit! We had two saddled up in the arena with a few folks on hand to help with instruction. They walked the horses around while guests took a ride. If you had a little experience, you could take the horse for a spin yourself.

Skeet Shooting

Guests could try skeet shooting with hands on instruction. Let's just say not a lot of clay pigeons were injured, but a few of our guests were able to knock them out of the sky. Perhaps some more practice is in order!

Lake Activities

There was so much to do near the house that very few made it out to the lake where you could fish or kayak, but a few went to check out the opportunity.

One guest decided to go for a swim. Duke loved the lake!

The CBS46 sports team met the donkeys. Don't worry...that's just ice in the red solo cup.

Fun and Games

What would a picnic in the country be without horseshoes?

It's also college football country, so cornhole is a must!

Bean bag in the air and a clean follow through. We'll just say it hit the target!

We've got some foals that are just a few months old. They were making new friends.

Let's visit on the front porch for a spell.

Y'all come back now! Ya hear?
