Photos: Fox Valley trot UWL CBA faculty and administrators toured Fox Valley businesses to build connections and understand future skills needed for students.

Joy Langreder, '93, Human Resources director, gives UWL CBA faculty and staff a brief presentation on Schneider's business and its values. She reflected on her time at UWL. “There was enough to choose from at UWL, and the things I did helped me to land my first job,” she says. “I didn’t realize I was building a resume at the time.”

At the time, I wanted to major in everything.”

Todd Koss, '87, leads UWL CBA faculty and staff on a tour of Grande Cheese. Nese Nasif, UWL assistant professor of marketing, says, “I enjoyed getting Wisconsin-based examples for the classroom. I saw theory in action everywhere I went.”

Grande's headquarters was built with Italian influences and an emphasis on employee wellness and work-life balance.
The tour concluded with meeting the company’s leadership team and UWL alumni. Andrew Stapleton, UWL professor of Operations & Supply Chain Management, says he appreciated the opportunity to meet alumni who were willing to give access to their executive board.
