Definition

ADHD stands for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. ADHD is a condition which is caused by inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity.

Symtoms

Some symptoms are becoming easily distracted, becoming bored very quickly, fidgiting and squirming, trouble completing or turning in homework assignments, inturupting others, and strugle following directions.

Causes

A big cause of ADHD is that it probably run in your family if you have it. Also kids can get it if their parents smoked of drank while pregnet.

Treatments

Some medications are Methylphenidate SR (Ritalin SR), Transdermal (Daytran), and Dexmethylphenidate (Focalin XR, SR Focalin).
