ADU WANNA MISS A THING February 2017 Newsletter

We are so joyful to tell you that there were a lot of Adamsonian students who underwent Victory Weekend in the month of February . It’s amazing how God is using the students to share the gospel inside the campus. Adamson is truly His!

Joshua Quito, a 2nd year geology student, and ranked 1 in his year, publicly declared his relationship with Christ through baptism. We believe that through his platform of academic excellency, it will be an avenue for him to reach out his generation.

Denisse Luciano, a graduating accountancy student this march, knows she is on the right track as she enters a new chapter of her life.

"Best decision of my life"Ella Quilala on following Christ.

Ladyn Altarejos (Second girl from left) was persecuted by her block mates because of her faith but she did not let that stop her from reaching out to them. Now, her classmates experienced victory in Christ. Praise God!

It’s truly amazing how one’s heart and desire to share the truth and the love of Christ can do. There were a lot of participants from Adamson during the recent victory weekend and all this transpired because of that one desire. To have more of Christ in the campus.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come" - 2 Corinthians 5:17

As for my School of Campus ministry update, we're done with the first month of training. I'm blessed with the teachings but more than that, are the stories crafted by God. Here is the testimony of one of my classmate.

This is Irma one of my classmate. She used to be a Muslim and supposed to be a next Imam (head of the Muslim in their community). One day she was pushed by her Imam Professor to cast out a demon to the body of her classmate. As she went to her classmate, the word that slip in her mouth was “In Jesus Name come out!” then immediately the demon depart from the body. During that time she doesn’t have any idea about Jesus. Then a thought came in to her head saying that “I am the Way, the Truth and the Light”. She searched the name of Jesus in the internet and ask her auntie who is already Christian. And that was the start of her journey with Christ. She left everything to follow Jesus. Despite of the persecution that she is facing she said, “ Only by God’s grace I was able to be here and standing with you all”. Please continue to pray for her and God’s ministry to her nation.
