Maikel Mirabal is a creative director and graphic designer. Graduated in 2004 from ISDI Instituto Superior de Diseño, (Institute of Higher Education of Graphic and Industrial Design), Havana, Cuba, and currently lives in the sunny state of Florida, USA. Proudly working as a graphic designer in the floral industry for the last 7 years at the marketing department of The USA Bouquet Co, Mirabal delivers creative excellence and high quality work for clients and sales representatives.

Floral trade shows
PMA 2017 (New Orleans, LA). Booth conception and execution, 20' x 20'. Developed to present multiple floral sections with personalised imaginary and to stand up its inner values. Connected by the same construction shape and materials. After photoshoot all the product presented, every section was supported by a visible QR code, what allowed the digital access to every floral through and Adobe Spark application. Materials used: plywood and printed coroplast. Previous 3D mockup/render using SketchUp.
Albertson's floral review, 2018 (San Diego, CA). Booth conception and execution, 10' x 10'. Singular presentation where the space is very limited. Materials used: kraft cardboard and cut vinyl. Previous 3D mockup/render using SketchUp.

2004 - 2011 (CUBA)
During seven consecutive years, I was part of the team at Santiago Álvarez Office, inserted in the ICAIC (Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry). There I was able to create and develop multiple visual campaigns that supported their main international event: the festival of documentaries "Santiago Alvarez in memoriam". In those years I adopted the "silkscreen" as a main way of expression and print technic, very rooted in the history of the Cuban poster, where is very significative the economy of colors and the use of a universal communicative elements as symbols, typography and the illustration use.
