waiting For Superman By Breht Sheekey

Album Cover
"She's watching the taxi diver, he pulls away. She's been locked up inside her apartment a hundred days"

The purpose of this task was to capture a photo which relates to my chosen lyric. I came up with this idea by listing to the song and reading into the lyrics. This image represents that the girl in the song is finally free & can pretty much do whatever she wants.

I created this by taking a photo of my cousin and I think it captures the mood of the song because when I listen to it I imagine things to be black & white. I used Photoshop to make the images look black & white. I used the lasso & eraser tool to get rid of the background around the girl, with the eraser I used a soft brush to get rid of the smaller unwanted background.

I think that the picture came out really well when I put it in, I had a difficult time when trying to get this photo because the flowers that I had my cousin hold kept falling out of her hand but I managed to find some string to hold them together so they didn't fall. I think I put in about 90% effort and I'm also very happy in how it came out.

"...To lift her up and take her anywhere, show her love, oh, and flying through the air, save her now before it's too late tonight, she's waiting for Superman "

The purpose of this task was to capture a photo which relates to my chosen lyric. I came up with this idea by listing to the song and reading into the lyrics. This image represents that the girl in the song needs to be saved by her 'Superman'.

I created this by taking a photo of my friend and I think it captures the mood of the song because when I listen to it I imagine things to be black & white. I used Photoshop to make the images look black & white. I used the magic wand & eraser tool to get rid of the background around the girl, with the eraser I used a soft brush to get rid of the smaller unwanted background.

I think that the picture came out really well when I put it in, I had a difficult time when trying to get this photo because my friend was scared that she'd fall off of the trampoline, to give her reassurance I did the jump a couple times until she finally did it. I think I put in about 90% effort and I'm also very happy in how it came out.

"Waiting for Superman to pick her up, in his arms, yeah, in his arms, yeah, she's waiting for Superman..."

The purpose of this task was to capture a photo which relates to my chosen lyric. I came up with this idea by listing to the song and reading into the lyrics. This image represents that the girl in the song's 'Superman' found her and saved her from all the bad things that had happened in her life.

I created this by taking a photo of my cousin & his fiancée and I think it captures the mood of the song because when I listen to it I imagine things to be black & white. I used Photoshop to make the images look black & white.

I think that the picture came out really well when I put it in, I had a difficult time when trying to get this photo because my cousin kept dropping his fiancée on the sand, to over come this I had him do it until he could keep her up. I think I put in about 90% effort and I'm also very happy in how it came out.
