Dear Specialists WELCOME TO COLEGIO MENOR. We would like to virtually introduce you so you can start getting to know each other.

JORGE AGUIRRE. PE TEACHER 1ST-4TH GRADE

Jorgito ha estado con nosotros por dos años y ha sido el profesor de educación física de todo primaria y 7mo grado. Este año, Jorge será el profesor de 1ero a 4to grado. Estamos seguros que seguirá demostrando su pasión por el deporte y el cariño hacia sus alumnos. Jorgito es un gran profesor y es muy querido por todos los alumnos. Sabemos que será un gran año para él y que ayudará a Alejandro lo más que pueda. Serán un gran equipo!

SANDRA RIVADENEIRA, 1ST-4TH GRADE ART TEACHER

Sandrita has been at Colegio Menor for three years now and has been working as the art teacher for two years. This year, Sandrita will be the Art teacher from 1st to 4th grade and we cannot wait to see the amazing activities she will do with her kids. Sandra is a creative and enthusiastic teacher who is always encouraging her students to look beyond and use their imagination. She is also constantly working with core teachers and seeing how to connect other subjects into her own. We are sure that she will have an amazing year and will work together with Lauren.

ALEJANDRO ANGULO, 5TH-8TH PE TEACHER

Alejandro tiene 30 años y es licenciado en cultura física, deporte y recreación. Empezó un maestría en deporte y está muy ilusionado de ser el profesor de 5to a 8vo grado. Alejandro ha trabajado en varios colegios educativos y en escuelas de fútbol. En su juventud jugó en Barcelona. Estamos muy ilusionados de tenerlo en nuestra comunidad y compartir con el gratos momentos.

LAUREN TROMP, 5TH-8TH GRADE ART AND LIBRARY

Lauren is 24 years old and is from Chicago, United States. She has a twin sister who is also a teacher and is in Thailand at this moment. This is Lauren's first time outside of the States and she is excited to begin this new chapter as 5th-8th grade Art teacher and in charge of the media center. Lauren enjoys hiking and photograph. We are so happy to have her in our team!

Krizia Loffredo, Instructional Facilitator

Krizia es una persona clave para el equipo. Krizia ha trabajado en el Menor los últimos 3 años. Empezó como profesora de primer grado en dónde demostró eficacia y pasión hacia la educación. El año pasado empezó a trabajar como facilitadora de instrucción. Krizia se encarga de ayudar a los profesores para que mejoren sus prácticas y les ayuda en las preguntas que tienen acerca del curriculum. También la verán en sus clases ya que entrará a observar con frecuencia, dará clases demonstrativas y retroalimentación. Confien en ella y saquen ventaja de su conociemiento y dedicación que tiene hacia la educación, nuestros alumnos y staff.

Final but certainly not least…...let me introduce you to a key person in your team. Your Instructional Facilitator, Krizia Loffedo. Krizia has been working at Menor for the last 3 years. She started as a very effective, caring and super star teacher in first grade for two years. Last year she became the grade 1-7 Instructional Facilitator. Krizia´s job is to aid and help you getting better at your teaching practices. She will help you and guide you with curriculum questions, she will offer demo lessons and will visit your classrooms often to give you constructive feedback and support. Rely on her, use her and take advantage of all her knowledge, love and care she has for teaching, students and staff.
