Marco Polo and the Silk Road

RACES: The reopening of the Silk Road helped spark the Renaissance because prices went down and more goods became available, people could buy more of the things they wanted. Trade increased and new products appeared in markets. Some of these products came from China, India, and other parts of the east. In the textbook by (holt 298). It states that trade increased because new items appeared in market and people could get more of what they want. Because of this the reopening of the Silk Road helped spark the Renaissance.
